Pressure from Patrick Spencer, MP and Conservative colleagues has resulted in the Labour Government holding a debate and a vote on the issue in Parliament on Tuesday, and Patrick voted against the Government’s decision to strip pensioners of the Payment.
Taking the Winter Fuel Payment away from the most vulnerable in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich would be devastating and is deeply unfair.
